Measuring for Harnesses
To determine correct size, measure snugly around the dog's ribcage, just behind the front legs. Allow about 10% extra for comfort. The girth should rest close to the front legs so that is is supported by the ribcage, not the belly.

Putting on a Harness
Unbuckle the girth and adjust to the approximate size needed. With the D-ring on top toward the dog's tail, place the head through the shoulder straps. Pick the left foreleg up over the sternum strap and buckle the girth. Adjust the shoulders and girth as needed. A harness should not be left on an unsupervised dog.
